Scholarship funds are available to qualified applicants for a number of educational and education-related needs including tuition, technical and professional equipment, textbooks, transportation, child care, and other expenses.

In an effort to increase the pool of minority group members and women who are qualified to perform construction work or construction-related professional services, the Miller Park Stadium District Community Program, Inc. semi-annually awards the Miller Park Scholarship to students currently attending Milwaukee Area Technical College, Gateway Technical College, Moraine Park Technical College or Waukesha County Technical College.  This scholarship is also available to high school seniors who to plan to attend one of these colleges.

  • Applicants must be either a member of a minority group defined as African American, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, Pacific Islander, Alaskan Native, or female.
  • Applicants for the Miller Park Scholarship must be enrolled and accepted in one of the following programs:

Materials Sciences; Electronic Technology; Preparatory Plumbing Program; Architectural Technology/Drafting; Carpentry; Manufacturing and Metal Fabrication/Welding; Construction Assistant/Construction Estimator/Expediter; Apprenticeship Training; Design and Drafting; Building Construction; Bricklaying/Masonry; Facilities Maintenance; Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating; or other related construction trades.

  • Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 college credits and have at least a 2.5 GPA at the time of scholarship award.
  • Applicants must live in the five-county area of Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington, or Waukesha county.

Students can receive up to a $1,500 scholarship. Students who continue to meet the scholarship requirements are encouraged to apply every semester. See the Miller Park Scholarship application for more information or contact your financial aid office.
